My First Week At Nobull By Ian

The first week at any new job can often be a baptism of fire. Names to learn, clients to meet and coffee orders to memorise, it can be frantic trying keep up with the pace.

The first week at any new job can often be a baptism of fire. Names to learn, clients to meet and coffee orders to memorise, it can be frantic trying keep up with the pace. Fortunately, the first week was all planned out beautifully for me in advance by the Nobull Team, leaving me with just the names and coffee orders to grapple with.

Joining Nobull Comms as an Account Director, I will be working across the automotive portfolio of clients. As a committed petrolhead since birth, I have a real passion for the industry and everything that makes it tick. From the manufactures and suppliers making the vehicles, the finance and leasing companies who get people into them, and the fleet and aftermarket sectors which keep us all moving afterwards – they are all cogs in the same great machine. Working in automotive PR and Comms allows me to get involved with all aspects of the industry and indulge my interests on a daily basis. My perfect job? I’d like to think so!

The first with a new teams is always a steep learning curve. Every agency has its own way of doing things, and every client has its own set of specific needs, so it’s always a great chance to learn new skills and gain new perspectives. My first impressions have been the closeness and friendliness of the Nobull Team, and the creativity and passion with which everyone approaches their accounts, as well as the great range of campaigns on the go.

If the pace of life, the quality of the team and the projects on the go are anything to go by, I’m so pleased and excited to be a part of it, and looking forward to a great summer ahead.
