Barking Heads is a small dog food company with big ideas, fuelled by lots of passion. It’s a brand run by people who truly love dogs and strive to do more than just make nutritious food for them.
Already managing media relations, influencer relations, social media content and community management for Barking Heads, Nobull was asked to come up with a collaboration idea for its ‘Paws For Thought’ charity initiative too. The BH team enthusiastically supports dog-centric charities that cement the incredible bond between humans and their dogs.
Pets As Therapy sends therapy dogs out into the community to support people who are struggling with mental health issues. With Mental Health Awareness Week approaching, is was an ideal match, offering an opportunity for Barking Heads to fulfil its charitable objectives, whilst branching out into new audience sectors to raise brand awareness.
Nobull signed up PAT Brand Ambassador, James Middleton, who co-hosted a lively 45-minute Q&A session on the Barking Heads Instagram Live. Questions came in from across the UK and as far away as Italy and Brazil! James and PAT representative, Matthew, talked about the charity’s work, James’s own experiences and the ongoing fundraising effort of the Barking Heads team. By the end of the following day we had reached a print audience of 71 million people, with some impressive reach numbers across social and lots and lots of enthusiastic engagement from new and existing audiences.
