The first week in August round-up features eco-friendly controversy and the new football season.
NOT SO ECO-FRIENDLY by Amy Green
This week McDonalds blessed us with the spicy chicken nuggets (very delicious, as the team discovered), but that didn’t quite hide the news that its ‘eco-friendly’ paper straws cannot be recycled *face palm* - next week I will be giving my views on this news having worked previously with true eco-friendly brands.
WE’RE ON THE BALL by Luke De Benedictis
Tonight sees the start of the greatest league in the world, the Premier League. Liverpool kick off this 10-month love affair tonight against Norwich - our Directors home town.
To commemorate this glorious event, I have created a Nobull Fantasy Football league and
pushed encouraged the team to create their own team, join our league and start some healthy competition. I, myself, have some FPL pedigree having finished in the top 0.05% of all managers last season. Not that I am bragging. I am bragging. There were over 6 million players in last years game so to finish 2.2k was impressive, I have to say. I know by bragging I have now doomed myself to a 1m or lower finish, but I’d do it again.
6,660 minutes, 74 matches, 20 teams, one trophy and I for one cannot wait (and I am a Chelsea fan by the way, #LampardIn).
