Leading automotive software solutions company Progress Automotive Solutions and its digital marketing solutions subsidiary, Responsive Digital, are to come together under the new brand name of Razoom. 

The name Razoom was inspired by the colloquial Russian word to describe a higher level of thinking, understanding or ability. This new name better reflects the spirit of the company as it responds to the rapid growth of the aftersales marketplace.

The rebrand will see the combined company provide complete software solutions for the sales, aftersales and fleet management market. With over 10 years of automotive expertise, spread across a variety of disciplines in software, website and hardware development, Newbury-based Razoom is now looking to expand its workforce by 25% in preparation for three new products slated to launch in early 2014. Razoom will also be opening two new sales and customer support offices in Toronto and Dubai, as the business expands on a global basis.

The strategic move came as the Newbury-based business completed a customer audit of the automotive aftersales market and discovered that a new generation of aftersales software was required. The result of this research was the development of three new products, CustomerVue, CarVue and FleetVue, set to launch in early 2014.

New products

Previous products such as WorkshopPro and Autocade will evolve into a new line of simple-to-use yet sophisticated aftersales solutions with the focus of improving operational efficiencies, increasing sales and profit for the customer, and strengthening customer engagement.

The new products from Razoom have been brought together under a family-naming strategy and will see the identified target market followed by the word “Vue”.  Chosen for its connotations around vision and clarity, the family brand name of Vue clearly identifies those products brought to market by Razoom.

CustomerVue: Workshop Pro, the award-winning aftersales management system, will undergo a major upgrade and become the flagship product, CustomerVue. Scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2014, CustomerVue will allow dealers, dealer groups and OEMs new levels of workshop productivity, customer analytics and improved customer engagement across multiple locations and regions.

CarVue:  Designed for the needs of the smaller independent workshop, CarVue is a completely new cloud-based garage management system, which can run the entire operation from just one application. Available as a monthly subscription-based product, it will incorporate online booking, vehicle health check, and job ticketing, all the way through to invoicing and customer follow-up, providing the garage with a real-time 360 degree view of their business operation. 

FleetVue: Slated for launch in the second quarter of 2014 and in response to customer and market need, FleetVue is designed for the enterprise that manages a fleet of vehicles across a single or multiple locations. FleetVue will improve workshop efficiency, delivering detailed reporting on fleet vehicles.
