- 180 Citroën dealers sign up to sell used vehicles on the Autorola online platform
- Autorola finds homes for dealer over age or non franchise used stock
- Online selling helps further improve used car efficiencies for Citroën network
Citroën has appointed Autorola UK as its online remarketing partner to open up its dealer network used vehicle stock to over 2,000 trade buyers across the UK.
The Citroën agreement went live on the 1st January and the majority of the 200-strong dealer network has already signed up to use Autorola’s Autofind online sales portal as a means of disposing of over age or non Citroën part exchange stock.
Citroën dealers are also using Autofind to source Citroën used product from within the car maker’s UK network.
Already trade buyers have bought hundreds of Citroën cars and light vans in the first ten weeks, proving that trade buyers like to feature cars such as the striking DS3 and DS4 on their used forecourts.
“We have seen good year on year growth for Citroën used cars since 2012 and this new agreement with Autorola will further help increase stock turn for our dealer network,” explained Mark Perry, Citroën UK’s used car manager.
“The majority of the network has already signed up to the online portal as it provides another step in maximising their used car efficiencies and ultimately helps increase used revenues,” he added.
Currently Citroën used vehicles account for nearly 15% of the 10,000 used vehicles currently for sale on Autorola Autofind.
“The Citroën programme has been one of the quickest to get off the ground of any Autofind partner agreement that we have launched,” explained Jon Mitchell (pictured) Autorola UK’s sales director.
“Citroën cars and vans are proving popular with buyers and residual values are strong,” he added.
