BUILDING ON A BUSY 2013 PARK RESORTS INVESTS IN 2014

2013 was a busy year for Park Resorts with the acquisition of new holiday parks and a large investor announcement. 2014 promises to be another exciting year for the leading UK holiday park operator as it launches new facilities, accommodation and entertainment across its holiday parks nationwide.

In September 2013 Park Resorts added the South Lakeland Holiday Parks to its portfolio of properties, bringing its total number of UK parks to 48. All the South Lakeland holiday parks are based in the North West, filling a geographical gap for the Park Resorts brand.

In addition to the nine brand new parks, Park Resorts is introducing over 300 new gold and gold plus caravans to its fleet nationwide as well as 20 new lodges.

Individual parks are also benefitting from refurbishment in 2014 with a refurbished outdoor swimming pool at Breydon Water Holiday Park in Norfolk and a new entertainment venue at Crimdon Dene Holiday Park in in the North East. Ty Mawr Holiday Park in Wales and  Sandylands in Scotland with all be acquiring new Boathouse Bars and Restaurants with  Lower Hyde on the Isle of Wight have a new Barn House Bar and Restaurant.

Park Resorts is also introducing new menus for 2014, including a tie-in with the 2014 World Cup, a new Tex-Mex menu, and tasty new cask asles. For holidyamakers who don’t want the hassle of cooking and want to budget their holiday, Park Resorts is now offering half board options at ten of its Parks.  In addition, the company’s ‘lively’ parks will see a number of new entertainment features for 2014 with an extensive list of popular performers and shows for 2014 including Stacey Solomon, The Pirate Adventure Show, Peppa Pig and the introduction of “Bark Resorts” a new selection of dog shows for pet lovers whose four legged friends enjoy holidaying with their owners!

In 2014, Park Resorts will commence roll out of the very latest in superfast Wi-Fi to many of its UK holiday parks. Park Resorts’ visitors will soon be able to access superfast internet connections, considerably faster than many of the commercially available Wi-Fi offerings and their home broadband connection in the comfort of their holiday home. The new Wi-Fi connections connectivity will be powered by Fibre Optic which is unique for an operation the size of Park Resorts. It will come with no download or upload limit enabling Park Resorts’ visitors to have the freedom they have at home whilst on holiday.

Park Resorts’  visitors will be able to browse the web to find out what entertainment and activities are available on park and in the nearby area, download the imminent Park Resorts app, check the surf report, pick up emails, stream movies, download music, Skype friends, use smart TVs and even book their next trip to Park Resorts!
