Motor Manufacturer: Product, Brand and Press Office Launch Overview of project New, high quality range of products available and a new communications team on board. This required a launch to promote its i10 city car, the brand and the press office. The Nobull Approach Vehicle USP of price and high-spec, including air conditioning as standard. Hyundai needed an innovative way to promote this feature in February. Working with the in-house team, Nobull paid homage to the great British summer and created a garden fete, complete with inflatable pub in a Surrey aircraft hangar. Strategy Relevance was the name of the game. All aspects of the launch related back to the i10 or the Hyundai brand. Guests slept in i10TEL pods, they tested the car on a specially designed route, then hopped on a Big Red Bus to a secret aircraft hangar (the Top Gear TV set) for a summer party. They ate ‘pub grub’ from ‘Ye Old Pony’ (an inflatable pub) and chanced their hand at Hyundai’s fairground with attractions including Croquet and plate smashing. Hyundai commissioned a specially designed i10 Cool – an i10 ice cream van.
