Client: Playboy Intimates

The task

  • Initially asked to present on core media relations
  • Research identified need to change perception to move forward
  • Developed creative ‘theme’ for introduction to media
  • Late going to the press with Spring/Summer 06 range (April 06), so had to be creative
  • Hooked into ‘celebrity’ trend of chic afternoon tea
  • Linked well with design of Spring/Summer 06 range – Summer Garden – reinforced chic and sweet description of the range
  • Sent initial samples to key fashion titles with bespoke Peggy Porschen cup cakes (known as the cup cake queen and celebrity wedding cake creator)
  • Association worked well and was extremely well received by fashion editors – Vogue phoned us to thank us
  • Worked well to dash the perception that Playboy Intimates would be ‘cheap and tacky’
  • Continued the theme throughout the summer to invite fashion editors to one-to-one briefings as Afternoon Tea venues to view the Autumn/Winter 06 collection
  • Enticed Cosmopolitan, Elle, Company and … out of the office to view the collection

The result: Afternoon Tea . . .

Client: St Regis

The brief

  • To design and produce a press advertising campaign for St Regis paper – in particular the Corrugated Case Materials (CCM)
  • To develop 3 creative concepts and copy
  • To continue to promote St Regis as a key player in the European corrugated market
  • To raise awareness of the key attributes of the key CCM brands

The result: Life’s a Beach . . .

Case Study 3 - Creative Ideas

Client: Lex Transfleet Airside Solutions (LTAS)

The brief

To promote LTAS’s pioneering Advanced Modern Apprenticeship in light and heavy commercial vehicles and aircraft ground service equipment based at Heathrow and Gatwick airport – the first of its kind in the world, working within a tight time deadline and budget.

The material needed to appeal to 16-21 year olds using language and images they could identify with.

The images also needed to be representative of the apprenticeship as an exciting new career opportunity.

Results

  • Creative concept became ‘FLY’
  • Images were used used on all promotional material
